Clifden Kudos..

I believe that Clifden Chamber of Commerce had a major input into Sundays' successful re-enactment of the 1919 Alcock & Brown crossing of the Atlantic from St Johns' to a boggy setdown in Connemara, Ireland.

Surprisingly, this receieved little publicicty in Ireland, a little bit of eclipsing I think by NASA and their deep impact/comet busting. The Irish Times does have this wonderful front page photograph however....
