Gentle readers - the snark has been awoken from his posting hiatus by a short piece in the Sligo Champion relating to rip-off republic champion Eddie Hobbs.
Ah yes - by releasing your hard earned €20 at the door of the Sligo Radisson on wednesday, march 22nd - you too can dazzle your friends with original ways of spending your SSIA's and learn the "A-Z of Personal Finance".
Since the beginning of the year, SSIA's have become the single most irritating topic of discussion; neatly replacing house price slumps and where did the Northern bank money go...

I wonder whether smart asses questions from the floor will query a reduced entrance fee if you claim you are off the aforementioned indulgences for lent and well, just to save money ?
